Entry 47 - Day 28

I found Lifepod 13 yesterday. It was laying amidst a forest of huge coral structures, like ancient trees with massive flat plates growing from them. It was incredible and awe inspiring, like so much else on this planet.

There were these large, glowing creatures, just gliding between the coral. The scanner called then 'Jellyrays', but I think that was just because the A.I. couldn't decide if they were more like jelly fish or stingrays.

Anyway, they seemed so peaceful.  In fact, this whole area felt peaceful. I don't know what it was, but I really liked this biome. Being in the Seamoth probably helped, since I could just relax and look around for once, without constantly stressing about my oxygen meter or what little fish was going to try to eat me next.

There wasn't anything of note in the Lifepod. It was supposed to have held the remains of Jochi Khasar, an Emissary from the Mongolian Trans-Gov, but it was empty when I got there. I guess something else got to his body before I did.

He was one of our passengers on The Aurora. I remember him as being a bit arrogant, but most of the higher ranks are like that around non-essential staff anyway. I don't know why we were carrying passengers anyway. I'm just glad that I didn't have to deal with his remains. It's bad enough losing people, at least this planet is sparing me from having to bury them too.

Ryley out.
